Our Vision

The 21st century is the century of data. The world is moving faster than ever and companies have to make decisions by taking into account data on competition, market evolution, public perception through social media networks, or political contexts. The ability to make quick decisions has become critical and ViJump has been created specifically to provide companies with a holistic tool to capture the wealth of data found on the web today.

New technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data are the current solution to fuel company growth by providing the right information at the right time. ViJump’s vision is to support businesses by strategically collecting and sharing the most relevant real-time information.

2013
Each problem has its solution

The ViJump team realizes the difficulty in searching specific content within videos on the web and Franck Tankoua, CEO and CTO, solves this issue by developing a “search inside video content” technology. Identifying various possible applications, he discovered that this technology could be useful for companies.

2015
Time to create

Two years later, ViJump is created based on the original ‘search inside video content’ idea, and becomes a fully integrated platform able to analyze and provide relevant information from video sources found over the web. Simple, efficient and innovative, this platform was the answer to support companies within the new era of information.

2017
New tool, changing the world

ViJumps starts to monitor video content for its first clients. We gathered the first feedbacks and improved the platform from a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to a reliable enterprise solution able to power companies with relevant data in real time. 2017 was also the year of the international expansion to Montreal, Canada, the city of artificial intelligence.

2019
Second round

ViJump releases a new version of the tool which includes more advanced features and more available monitoring sources such as TV, radio, streaming, blogs, social media networks, etc.

Following an award received by the “Quartier de l’innovation de Montréal”, the French region “Grand Est” granted to ViJump 100,000 € to support some innovation projects.

2017
Award - Tango & Scan

That same year, ViJump (with the help of his partner LICRA) wins the TangoScan contest with a “Hate Tracker” project. From then on, ViJump obtains the necessary subsidies for the full realization of the platform and substantial research and development is carried out.

Franck is an engineer specialized in mathematics and web technologies. He also has a Masters Degree from the Lyon CPE: l’école supérieure de chimie, physique et électronique.

Damien Crevat

COO & CFO – Co-founder

Damien is an engineer specialized in electronics, telecommunications and web technologies. He also has an MBA specialized in strategy.

Awards

ViJump has distinguished itself by presenting its own vision of strategic monitoring and receiving many awards for it:

The first one is the Start-Up Weekend organized in Basel during which ViJump  won the second prize in 2014. After that, in 2017, the Tango & Scan competition, where the young company from Strasbourg finished on the top step of the podium, thanks in particular to its close collaboration with LICRA. Then, ViJump was been rewarded by Damien Silès, Director of the Quartier of Innovation in Montreal, for its “Hate Tracker” project. Finally, through these multiple events, the company has collaborated several times with recognized entities such as French Tech’ Alsace and HEC Montreal.
